Orders
Customer (or fulfillment account) orders automatically cascade from their prior order. This frees you from having to manually create similar orders over and over again. At the same time, orders remain fully editable as needed. Changes to future orders can be made at any time, and take precedence over prior quantities.
The “Orders” tab provides a comprehensive view of all customer orders at once for a given date range.

Order blackouts
Section titled “Order blackouts”Order blackouts temporarily silence the steady cascade of regular orders. You can do this for the orders of an individual fulfillment account location, or for all orders fulfilled from a shop location.
During a blackout, an order’s quantities are nullified, or set to zero.
Order blackouts are reflected in the orders aggregate table, packing labels and invoices.
When to use order blackouts
Section titled “When to use order blackouts”Use order blackouts for dates when you or your fulfillment accounts are closed. For example, most businesses close for holidays throughout the year.
Anytime you’re temporarily ceasing production of regularly occuring orders, you should set an order blackout.
Order blackouts are pereferable since they alleviate the need to permanently alter your normal order schedule for a temporary closure.
Order blackouts for a shop location
Section titled “Order blackouts for a shop location”When an order blackout is set on a shop location, all orders assigned to that location are temporarily muted.
Order blackouts for a fulfillment account location
Section titled “Order blackouts for a fulfillment account location”When an order blackout is set on a fulfillment account location, all items assigned to be fulfilled to the location from a specified shop location will be temporarily muted. A fulfillment account location blackout does not affect any other fulfillment account’s orders.
